The Familiars by Foxface

Wisty picked Morgan and ran for it. Wisty jumped out the window to the near by forest and ran all the way out of the forest trail that leads out of the forest.

Morgan hissed and flailed. "Put me down!"

"Sorry." Wisty said as they were clear of whatever was attacking the small wooden hut. They were by a creek. Wisty sat down on a smooth boulder.

Morgan twisted free and ran back toward the hut.

"What the #### are you doing?????" said Wisty as she was running towards Morgan.

Morgan whirled around and roared at Wisty. "Stay away! I'm going back to Aila!"

" Then I'm coming with you. have you learned nothing of my stubbornness?" said Wisty.

Morgan growled. "I don't really care." She turned and bounded back into the hut. A moment later she yowl/shrieked in shock.

Wisty whispered quietly to Ruby to see what was Morgan shrieking because Ruby would get there first. Wisty followed behind her all the way back to the hut.

Morgan cowered against the wall, staring at Aila.

Ruby went to Morgan and gently poked her. "What the heck happened" said Ruby to Morgan. And Ruby's loyal, Wisty, went to Aila. Wisty quickly studied her. She looked normal but with dark rings around her eyes. "Come on. What the #### is wrong with you? We used to be best buds, and play silly pranks on each other. I need my Aila back!!!" said Wisty.

Morgan snapped at Ruby. "Back away! She's Trans-morphing!"

Wisty took a few steps back. "Trans-morphing????" said Wisty.

Morgan flicked her tail at AIla's hair, then ends of which were starting to flicker like lightning. "I read it in one of Kalstaff's books! Aila is changing into an Elemental!"

"Oh. this is bad.... Morgan did you read anything that has some sort of thing to stop the morphing in Kalstaff's books?" said Wisty. Ruby nodded in agreement.

Morgan shook her head. "I never read that far!"

"Which book is it? "Wisty said as she rapidly looked at the many rows of book shelves.

Morgan shook her head. "I can't remember! It was a forbidden one though!"

Wisty took an deep Breathe and said," Do you know where he keeps his forbidden.library ?" Said wisty.

Morgan nodded. "It was there." She flickered her tail at a part of the hut that had been blown apart.

"We need to search the recage," said Wisty. "Fast."

Morgan glanced over at Aila. Half of her head and all of her hair had been transformed. "I agree!"

Sorry I have not been on this r.p in a while. I had a lot of homework.

Wisty looked around the room. "Morgan you go that way[pointing to the left side] and I will go this way." said Wisty.

Morgan nodded. "Okay." She bounded over to the side of the hut.

Wisty walked over to the other side and looked at the rows and rows of the fallen over or demolished bookcases. She looked at the rows of the books and saw a small leather-bound book. Wisty turned to the first page. It looked like like Kalstaff's journal. On the cover there was kalstaff' signature. "Morgan! come look at this!" said Wisty.
