Question- What do you mean by 'species' . I thought it only went as far as 'fairy' or something....

Hmm. I was confused because I don't recall there being anything that would not allow you to join since you've read the books.

Did all the faeries have to have jobs? It doesn't make much sense. The No Kids rule doesn't either.

Sydney: I'm getting the vibe that ou haven't read the books. In the books, 'fairies' are subdivided into (technically) 8 species (see the spoiler in the first post titled A Few Things to Know). That's the most basic way to put it without going into stuff in the novel. Read the first slide.

Izabel: Yes to the first question, but the only ones that were really talked about were involved with LEP. As for the 'no kids rule', that's not one. As explained in the first post, the fairies live longer, and thus an age that is old to us (like 70) is young to them. I gave them example of Holly who is around 70 in the books which is in the twenties or so. So, thus, you can technically have kids (though I would perfer an older teenager in this because of the nature of the RPG and their adventures), you just have to up the age on the fairies because of the lifespan issues.

Sorry for the confusion...I tried to explain all this the best as I could in the first post, bu may have been unclear as a factor of rushing.

That my group was a bunch of outlaws/rogues whatever and Aria was their friend.

Hmmm. I guess I should ask then what the age-lifespan discrepancy is then.

What about those issues you pointed out comes into play/ affects your backstory.

The job part. And I kind of wanted them to be around the same age as Aria. I also don't really get the lifespan. It's been a while since I read Artemis Fowl.

I feel you. It's kind of hard to explain concisely.

You basically said they all had to have jobs.

That was because I assumed that everyone would make characters old enough to do that AND also because I thought it was appropriate for this RPG AND also because almost all the Artemis Fowl fairies had jobs. It would just make things easier, contribute to back stories, and also provide for plot ideas.

When I create character forms, I include what I think is important and necessary...if you get what I mean (ie ship names in Star Trek, native country in Scientist Adventures)

Yeah...that probably was true...after all, it would make some sense if you compare it to other societies. I had that as a requirement because I thought it was practical (as explained in previous post).
