"You should go tell him any and all information that you have as soon as possible."

Lyra nodded slightly. "I'll go do that right now, before any of the others wake up." She sprinted toward Salamandastron.

"I'll come with you. Ragnar won't like being woken up a second time."

Lyra nodded. "Probably best. Do you know any way so that we won't run into any hares? I'm not in the mood to be impaled on a sword blade."

"Follow me." Nala led her back the way she had come, and soon, they were back at Ragnar's.

Lyra waited.

"Ragnar," Nala said softly. "You have a visitor."
Ragnar shifted in his bedding. "Go away, Nala. It's not yet dawn,and this is the second time you've woken me this night."
"It's important. I have the animal I told you about earlier."

Lyra continued waiting.

Ragnar sat up and rubbed his eyes. When they came into focus, he was appalled. "Why'd you bring a ferret here?! Are you nuts?! Their evil! Is this some sort of trick?!"
"No. She's good. You know well enough not all of them are evil."
"You'd better be right, or I'll kill you! Treason is a serious crime!

Moving slowly, Lyra dropped onto one knee and inclined her head in a motion of respect. "Greetings Lord Ragnar. I assure you, I am not here to cause trouble."

"Better not be or your friend and possibly you will be facing punishment for treason. Now, what is your name?"

Lyra stood back up. "Lyra."

Ragnar sat up and nodded. "What information do you bring?"

How does Lyra know who Ragnar is and the like?

"Hades is planning an attack tomorrow. A big one."



If there's a Badger Lord at Salamandastron, almost everyone knows about it.

"That Hades," Ragnar said, standing up. "He's always up to something isn't he? So...what's his big plan this time?"

Question: what consists of Salamandastron's army or the like?

Lyra closed her eyes as she remembered. "He's going to try and get in through both the front gate, and by scaling through the upper windows. He also has hostages, if it looks like the battle isn't going in his favor, he'll use them to barter with you."



Hares.

"Hmmm..." Ragnar pondered.

3 Q's...what jobs do the hares do and do other animals fight? And also...what should Ragnar decide on how to deal with Hades?

Lyra waited.



It's mostly hares at Salamandastron. They train basically. And anything will go on dealing with Hades.

"We should set up defenses. You are welcome to help since you know what Hades is up to."

Lyra nodded. "Gladly."

What should Ragnar do now?

Probably station hares on guard and start getting ready for a fight.

Do they have Roan-like shields? I have an idea...especially if Hades has archers.
