The Underland Tales

Score leaped forward and leaped past Eclipse. Without hesitating he leaped off the ledge and plunged down into the abyss, Kindle still clinging to his back.

Eclipse picked up Aurora and dove after Score.

Score twisted in midair and grabbed onto a ledge, yanking himself forward he vanished behind a boulder and ran down the tunnel beyond.

Eclipse pulled up from her steep dive and followed Score through the tunnel.

Score leaped out of the tunnel and dove through the air, splashing into an underground lake.

Eclipse dove after him but was forced again to pull up to avoid getting Aurora and herself wet.

Score swam through the lake and into an underwater tunnel, exploding out into air and taking off.

Eclipse was forced to take the long way since she couldn't swim.

Score was already ten tunnels away. Kindle tapped his shoulder. "Someplace safe we can go?" She asked. Score nodded. "I'll see what I can find."

"I think I can detect him," Eclipse said. "He went this way."
"Wee'll have to fly fast so we can catch up. Fly silently, though."

Score skidded to a halt and leaped straight up, climbing into another tunnel too small for a bat.

"[word]! He's crafty, this rat!"

Score leaped across another chasm and ran along a narrow ledge full of small tunnels, finally ducking into one.

"The tunnels he's going into...I know where they lead," Eclipse said. "We could meet him there."
"Fly on, then," Aurora replied.

Score snickered. "They probably think I'm taking the tunnels to the main branch, where they all lead." He whispered. "But I'm not." He skidded to a halt and leaned one shoulder against a large rock. Shoving as hard as he could he rolled the rock aside and leaped into the almost vertical tunnel, scrambling down it.

Aurora was about to sit back for the ride, but she remembered something. "I don't think Score is stupid enough to go towards the main branch. He'll go some other way. We should go after him from those tunnels."

Score dropped out of the tunnels and bounded through them. "My cave is just through this tunnel. No bats can get in." He shoved another boulder aside and ran through, turning he pushed it back into place.

"He went this way," Eclipse said. She flew, following his trail. "I can't go on from here. You go on. Call me if you need me."

Score padded through the tunnel, after moving and replacing one more large boulder he lay down. "We should be safe here."

Aurora nodded and dismounted. She started running silently down the tunnel.

Score's den is blocked by two boulders.

Kidle sat down next to Score.

Any way for Aurora to somehow find her way in?

Moving the boulders?

Yes.

One could be slightly ajar so she's knows where to go.
