Lyra glanced outside. "We have about an hour before he attacks I think."


Start preparing for battle.

Ragnar nodded. "Good. That gives us enough time to prepare."

Lyra glanced out the window again, looking a touch uneasy.

Ragnar glanced at Lyra. "What's that look for? Is there something you aren't telling me?"

"No... I'm just worried."

"About what?"

"Various things."

"Tell me," Ragnar said with an authoritative tone it his voice. His tone also hinted at a possible punishment for doing otherwise.

"What Hades is going to do to me when he finds out I'm the one leaking information."

Ragnar nodded. "I'd hate to be caught in his line of fire."

Lyra nodded slightly. "Its the ones in your line of fire I'm worried about."

Wait...what does 'ones' refer to here? I don't want to take it the wrong way.

The hostages Lyra mentioned.

Ragnar gave her a queer look.

Lyra continued looking out the window.

When Lyra didn't respond, Ragnar asked, "What the [word] do you mean?"

"I already told you. Ragnar has hostages."

"I know that! What about them?"

You mean Hades?

[smacks hand to forehead] Yes!

"Knowing Hades, he'll put them in the line of fire."

"Will they have anything on them distinguishing who they are?"

"They won't be vermin."

Ragnar gave her a look. "I figured that."

"Plus they'll probably be wearing chains."
